Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that Israel has never been stronger, the bond between Washington and Jerusalem has never been tighter, and Iran would be making the worst mistake in its history were it to attack Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He declared this during an address to the Knesset plenum on Feb. 23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\u201cNo one knows what the day will bring,\u201d said the Israeli prime minister, who declared that \u201cIsrael has never been stronger\u201d and is \u201cprepared for any scenario.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI recently returned from my seventh meeting with the president of the United States since he was elected,\u201d he said, describing the relationship between U.S. President Donald Trump and himself as unprecedented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That relationship extends to the Israel Defense Forces and the U.S. military, according to Netanyahu, who emphasized: \u201cOur security agencies and their security services\u2014there has never been anything like this.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Together, the United States and Israel have eliminated threats facing every Israeli citizen. \u201cIsrael has never been stronger,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo one knows what the day will bring,\u201d stated the prime minister. \u201cWe are prepared for any scenario.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said he relayed the message to Iran that it would make \u201cperhaps the worst mistake in its history,\u201d if it attacked the State of Israel. \u201cWe will respond with a force that they cannot even imagine,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis is not the time for argument. In these days, on the eve of Purim, in those days as in this time, we need to close the ranks of the people, stand shoulder to shoulder,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI trust in our strength. I trust our commanders. I trust our fighters. I trust our people. I trust you, the citizens of Israel.
