Without a doubt, there are some scary statements found in the Bible. Moreover, a number of them come from Jesus Himself. For example, Jesus tells His disciples at one point: “Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Hell” (Matt. 10:28).
