Israel is experiencing a spiritual revival that will ultimately reach the next generation around the world, according to Jeremy Gimpel of The Israel Guys.

After returning from a seven-week trip across the United States, Gimpel said the spiritual change unfolding among Israelis has become impossible to ignore.

“There is a spiritual revival in the land,” Gimpel said during a recent podcast episode.

He pointed to footage of Israeli singer Ben Tzur performing “Ahavat Hashem,” or “The Love of God,” live at Caesarea. The powerful performance featured orchestral elements, multiple singers and a large crowd proclaiming the kingship of God.

“What is this? This is a revival,” Gimpel said as he watched the concert footage.

Gimpel described Tzur as one of Israel’s most popular mainstream singers. He said Tzur began wearing tzitzit following the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks and has increasingly centered his music on faith, Scripture and his personal journey toward God.

“All of his songs are about faith,” Gimpel said. “It’s about verses from the Bible.”

For Gimpel, the Caesarea performance reflects a spiritual awakening spreading across Israel. The trauma of Oct. 7 and nearly three years of war have touched families throughout the country, driving many Israelis to reconnect with God and their biblical heritage.

“Our hearts are being changed,” Gimpel said.

He connected the transformation to Ezekiel’s vision of the valley of dry bones. In the prophecy, the scattered bones first come together to form a body before God breathes His Spirit into it.

Gimpel views the modern state of Israel as the restored body. He believes the nation is now entering the prophecy’s next stage.

“After that, the Spirit of God is going to fill that body with a new spirit,” he said. “It’s happening in Israel.”

Gimpel believes the revival will not remain within Israel’s borders. As God draws the Jewish people back to Himself, he expects the spiritual effects to reach a new generation throughout the nations.
