Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned Israel’s attacks on Lebanon, stating that the country would not allow itself to be turned back into a “platform for support wars that have nothing to do with it.”

According to the official news agency NNA, Aoun stated that the firing of rockets from Lebanese territory risks drawing the country into dangerous military conflicts in the region, and that this targets the state’s efforts to keep Lebanon out of conflict.
